Quick service, quantity food, great atmosphere , good prices One of my favorite spots in LA

Our forever FAVORITE Mexican restaurant. The only con for Salsa and beer #2 (Sherman way) is the parking and wait time! If you want dinner at 7:30 I'd go earlier like 7 or 6:45. It's always busy for dinner because the food is unbeatable! Huge portions enough for leftovers and authentic, delicious food. They have a self serve chips/salsa bar and a delicious house bean dip that's complimentary. I love salsa and beer and when I love showing friends and family the restaurant for the first time. My stamp of approval hasn't been questioned yet. HIGHLY RECOMMEND !!! Did I mention margaritas?? They are delicious on the rocks or (my fave) blended! The Piña colada's is good too but separates quickly. (If you have breathing trouble beware of the fajitas!! They come out steaming and can make some people cough) Service is quick and friendly and the upbeat ambiance is family friendly and social, the perfect place to celebrate birthdays, special occasions, or enjoy a hearty meal that'll make you feel good after eating! Salsa and Beer 10/10

This Mexican restaurant is simply the best in LA County. Come out with friends and family to experience it firsthand!

Another amazing lunch at Salsa & Beer! This time we ordered creamy chicken flautas and camarones a la diabla. Both were sooo good. Creamy chicken flautas were filled with meat & the sauce was so rich & creamy. Camarones a la diabla were fresh and had a nice amount of heat but weren't too spicy IMO (coming from a spicy food lover). I'd definitely order both dishes again. Service was great, as usual, when we sit at the bar with Valentin. Sports on the TVs and A/C kicking that summer heat away!

Valley staple with multiple locations! When I'm in the mood to pay for Mexican food this is a place I love going. And that something to say because my mom cooks amazing. I love getting the combination plates because it comes with so much food that you can honestly share it and it's not breaking the bank.

Absolutely a place to visit. When we arrived the staff was very welcoming and seated us right away. The atmosphere was very lively and reminded me of the old school Mexican restaurants that I had been to in Mexico City. We looked at the menu and thought the selections were awesome and we had a tough time deciding which direction to go. So where did we land? 1 - My wife ordered the Chili Relenos and Beef enchilada platter. She said that everything reminded her of her Grandmother's flavors! 2 - Daughter #1 ordered the Chicken Flouta platter and said that it was awesome and well seasoned 3 - Daughter #2 ordered the Carne Asada taco platter and was very satisfied with the size of the tacos...Def not street taco size! 4 - lastly, I ordered the Carnitas burrito platter and the authenticity of the carnitas was noticeable and really tasted fresh and homemade... All platters came with Rice & Beans. The rice was very fluffy and again tasted very homemade..not clumpy like other restaurants I've eaten at. The beans were likewise on point, and you could tell it was a handed down recipe *Pro Tip Be aware that while everything we tasted was authentic and very flavorful, the platters are generous I look forward to visiting again for a follow-up review and upgrading from 4 to 5 stars!

When you drive up to Salsa and Beer, it's hard to know what to expect. The exterior looks pretty small, suggesting a quick In-N-Out type of restaurant. However, based on a recommendation, we decided to give it a try in our quest for some good Mexican food. Upon entering, we were pleasantly surprised by the authentic and very nice decor. It created a warm and inviting atmosphere. This initial impression already began to elevate our dining experience. The food at Salsa and Beer is noteworthy. I give it a five-star rating primarily because we truly enjoyed the ambiance and the spicy bean dip, which was amazing. The portion sizes were extremely large; sharing a plate with someone would still leave you full! Additionally, their salsa bar was a fantastic touch. However, the service left much to be desired. When we walked in, we were not greeted by the gentleman who was assisting another customer. Even in the midst of helping someone else, a quick acknowledgment would have been appreciated. It took three servers walking by before we were finally seated. We also had a concern about food allergies, specifically for our son who is severely allergic to tree nuts and peanuts. When we asked the waiter about the presence of these allergens in the chips or any of the food, his response was, "I'm not sure." We requested that he check with the cook. He returned with a vague answer, saying he didn't think there were any tree nut or peanut products and just smiled. This response was unprofessional and concerning given the severity of food allergies. The food itself was great--huge portions and delicious flavors. However, the waiter never checked back to see how our meal was going, and we had to wait quite a while before our drinks were refilled. In conclusion, while the food and ambiance at Salsa and Beer are definitely worth a visit, the customer service needs significant improvement. If you're in the North Hollywood area and looking for good Mexican food, give this restaurant a try, but be prepared for possible service shortcomings.

The food is great, service is also great they are friendly. It looks small but actually pretty big the atmosphere is great. I mostly order there wet burritos (carnitas) and men do they taste delicious, if you ever decide to try one try the wet burrito in green spicy sauce it's delicious, and the bean dip is also good

This place was was sooo packed I def recommend getting here early there's even a line for parking Once you enter inside it's pretty dim but great for families and get together, the place is pretty spacious but when I was there since it was so packed it may have seemed smaller I was definitely excited to eat I was so hungry and I heard a lot of good things about this place . The smell was mouthwatering in here , our server was really nice and she was fast got all our orders and everything came out fast and fresh but to mention in huge portions that you can share for in the area go check this place out
